Christmas Day 2009

This year was the first year we could actually do the whole "video the kids coming down the stairs" thing. Of course I can never get video to download right on here so I will have Ryan get some of it on here soon. It was so fun watching them try to figure out why in the world there were so many goodies under the tree. In fact, yesterday when Reagan woke up she said "I want mo presents". Just lovely...

After we opened our gifts, we went over to Mom and Dad's for Christmas dinner. We had all planned on playing games that night but we all left for home around 6:30. We were pooped! Then at around 1:30 that morning I had to take Hunter to Children's and found out he had croup. I know it sounds crazy but I was very relieved to hear it was just croup and not a scary case of H1N1. I know.. I watch (and read) too much news.

Reagan in her fancy new chair

The boy loves him some Elmo!

All dressed up in her Christmas Day dress. It didn't last very long though..
Dad & Mom (Is it me or does Dad look like he's gonna pick a fight with someone?)

Reagan went from her pretty dress right into her warm jammies.

Ronda & Tyler. Tyler was SO stoked to get Tiana from "Princess & the Frog". Ronda said it's a great movie.

Ronda & Trevor
Umm.. I think Trevor was pretty tired.

Evidently Lewis was pretty tired too....

Hunter got a sweet, new toolbelt from Ronda, Gary, Tyler, & Trevor. He wore it around ALL day and even had the saggin' jeans to complete the look.

Ahh.. finally home, bathed and all comfy ready to watch The Grinch.
Yes.. his sissy steals everything from him. He's secure in his manhood though to get comfy in a pink, flowered chair. Notice he's got Elmo though so he's all good.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! Sadly, I'm sure next Christmas will be here before we know it. Happy New Year!!!

Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve. Absolutely love it!!! This Christmas Eve was perfect. There was a ton of snow on the ground and a ton of family around. We went to church for the Christmas Eve service. Of course we had to get there an hour early because if I ever have to sit anywhere behind the 2nd row in church, I have a coronary and the Christmas Eve service is always packed. Besides, our pastor, Steve said he always relies on me to be in the 2nd row so he can tell how he's doing with his sermon. Evidently I'm an animated person and have no fear of laughing at something funny even when the rest of the congregation has yet to wake up. Afterwards, we went over to Mom and Dad's for dinner. Mom made "Snow on the Mountain" which was soooo good. Never in a million years did I think I'd like something like that but it was awesome!
When we got home, each of us opened our Christmas Eve present which were new pajamas. Yes, I copied that Christmas tradition off of Modern Family. On a side note, if you haven't watched Modern Family, you have NO idea what you are missing!

Hunter was just not in the mood for pictures at ALL!

Boppy & Reagan
See? Told ya.. he just wasn't in the mood for pics.
Dustin & Hunter

Trevor and Reagan in Grandma & Boppy's bed watching Elmo... or Barney... They were worn out!

Here was all the loot left by Santa!!

Snowball Fight!!!

We definitely had a white Christmas this year but the snow started falling two days beforehand. My twins (I've had to call them that this week since my nephews are also called the twins) had a blast in the snow as they always do. They even got to witness their very first snowball fight.

Ryan absolutely loves when teenagers are around. It actually gives him an excuse to act like one! Hunter's trying to help in the snowball fight but his gloves were giving him some major issues:-(

I think this picture is Reagan laughing at Austin's (I think it's Austin..) pants falling down.

My long lost nephews!

Okay, so they really weren't lost but it seems like we haven't seen them in ages!! Koltin, Austin, and Dustin are all here for Christmas this year. I know I haven't seen Dustin since my grandma's funeral in July of 2007. I've seen Austin a couple times since then but it was always on a passthrough to Montana where he and Dustin live with their paternal grandparents. They're all brothers and Austin and Dustin are identical twins and will be turning 18 on January 7th! That just completely blows me away. Koltin is 20 now and still lives in Aspen. My brother's son Cody also came down for a few days to visit. He graduates high school this spring and leaves for the Marine Corps in June. This will probably be the last time they will all be together for a very long time which is why we are so happy that we all got to be together!

Austin & Reagan

Yup, pretty much all they do is fight. Not sure why Austin wasn't in on this one.

Doesn't Cody look enthused?

New Pajamas

The twins got these pajamas from Ronda for their birthay. I had to put them on here as I think they are hilarious..and adorable!

Man, they have a rough life, don't they??

Sooooo comfy....

It's almost bedtime and can you think of a more comfortable place to drink your nighttime milk while watching Jeopardy?

I think not!!

One early Christmas

Brett & Jan are going to be in Mississippi this year for Christmas so we celebrated Christmas with them yesterday. We opened gifts with them and then went to the Depot for dinner. We were supposed to go to Zoo Lights at the zoo but Reagan and I aren't feeling so great so we decided not to go.

I think the twins could get used to this present-opening stuff!

Reagan opening her Chloe doll from Grandpa & Grammy. She also got 3 extra outfits that go with the doll.

Here's Hunter's new workbench! You can build real projects! He seriously will not put the working drill down. Run down battery! Run down!!

This is how excited he was when he saw the picture on the box!

The boys putting the work bench together

The kids love the number and alphabet puzzles they were given. Reagan even knows some of the pieces. Thank you Sesame Street!

These pictures are from last weekend when we decorated the tree and the house. Yes, go figure... the kids have no clothes on:-) I promise Ryan and I don't run around in our underwear. I have no idea why they aren't fond of clothes.

I did my hair especially for this picture. You know.. how I always do my hair!

Look at that belly!
