Back in the Lone Star state

Yesterday we got back from 6 fun-filled days in Texas. I made the huge mistake of going down there in the fall. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. We flew in to San Antonio on Wednesday and all 10 of us (6 adults and 4 kiddos) piled into our awesome 15 passenger van and drove to New Braunfels to visit my cousins Robert and Susan and their 2 boys Adam and Troy. We went over to Gruene and ate at the Grist Mill which is always a good time. From there we drove over to Kerrville to my Aunt Jodell & Uncle Curtis' house. Even though their house is huge, we stayed at a hotel because all of us together can be quite a chore for any host. Friday we drove back to San Antonio and went to Sea World. It was PERFECT! The weather was absolutely amazing and there was hardly anyone there. We saw most of the shows and the highlight was our "Dine with Shamu" experience. We had a great buffet and seriously got to be within 6 feet of the killer whales. It was awesome! Saturday we went out to my aunt & uncle's ranch. I believe it's a 300 acre ranch with all sorts of very cool animals on it including exotic animals. We ate the best bbq and just enjoyed our time together. We made it home last night. I can't say that the flights were all that fun though. Maybe when the twins are a bit older:-) On a side note.. my Aunt Jodell has been in the hospital now for a month. We were able to visit her in the hospital but we missed her terribly while we were there. It started with double pneumonia and progressed with other issues. If you could please say a prayer for her we all would greatly appreciate it.

Look at them grow!!

Here's to you Susan! :-) One of our friends just had another baby so we loaned her one of our swings. While we were getting it ready, the babies were very intrigued by it so we couldn't resist taking their pictures again in one of their old swings. Yet again, it made me wonder where time goes so quickly...

My little man (I loved his lazy eye! It, of course, has healed itself though)Look at him now!

Sweet baby girl

Trevor's 1st Birthday!!

Trevor had his 1st birthday party on Thursday. It's so hard to believe he's already 1 year old. I remember the day he was born being so jealous of Ronda because I knew I still had 2 months to go!! The party was really fun. Reagan was not a happy camper at all. Anyone who looked at her she would just scream at. It was quite embarrassing. Hunter on the other hand, well as always he had a great time. Mom and Dad bought Trevor a Radio Flyer rocket and Hunter couldn't get enough of it as the pictures below show. Oh yeah, Ronda said that Trevor ate SO much cake that his poop was seriously blue the next day from all the frosting! Yummy!! HAHA!!

The Denver Zoo

Yesterday, we went to the zoo. We couldn't wait for Hunter to see the giraffes since he LOVES giraffes! Well we made the mistake of going there last so he was too tired to even pay attention. Reagan's favorite was the penguins. They were showing off in the water and zipping through it doing somersaults. She laughed and laughed. Hunter's favorite turned out to be this monkey/ape thing with a colored face. They were talking to each other and he thought Hunter was pretty cool too:-) We also had a peacock friend for lunch. The peacock loved our Cheetos. I tried to give him a piece of the babies banana but he wasn't into that. He took that as an insult and walked away.

Hunter and I on the giraffe. What was up with my eyes?!?!
