Pool Party

Here are some pictures of Reagan, Hunter, and their cousin Trevor swimming. It's hilarious how much all of the babies love the little pool. They can touch so they all just get their little feet going and cruise all around the pool.

Summer Fun

Today we got the new pool all blown up and ready to go. I have to admit, it's quite a change from the pool we used to have, but we'll learn to deal:-) The new one is about 1/32 the size of our one in Texas, but it's softer! Does that count? Hunter got a really cool floating crab and Reagan got a floating car/buggy thing. It turned out to be just Hunter, Mom, and I because Reagan decided to sleep through the entire pool party. The thing is, she never sleeps. I found this out for a fact today. You'll see proof in the first pictures below. I put the babies down and all is quiet. Perfect. Time to relax. I walk by their room on the way to ours and what do I see??

"You are crazy to think I'm going to take a nap Mom" "I would so rather play with my toys in my crib. NO NAP!"

We're planning on swimming tomorrow as well. Hopefully Reagan will be up for it so I can get some pictures of them both swimming.

Update on my cereal dilemma for those of you who may need a good pointer. Smart-thinking Ryan bought them the YoBaby yogurt so I mixed the cereal with it and they LOVE it!! And it adds even more nutrition as well. Score one for Daddy!

The girl can do it all!

Well it seems like in only one day Reagan figured out how to sit up, crawl, AND hold her bottle all by herself!! She's been trying to crawl for a couple of weeks but she just couldn't figure out what to do with those arms. Her legs would move like crazy though. Oh yeah, she also has her 2 bottom teeth! Hunter on the other hand, well I think he's like his mommy. Status quo works just fine for him. I think he tries to crawl.. if you consider him on his tummy flailing his arms and legs around on the floor like he's trying to swim. I have it on video. I just need to figure out how to post video. Ryan left for Japan today otherwise I'd have him do it.
Look at me all big and tall!

Watch out Mom! Here I come!!
This is how Hunter learns it all:-)

Ryan's first Father's Day

Ryan didn't get much relaxing done on Father's Day weekend. Since moving here, he really hasn't relaxed much at all:-) If he doesn't have a million projects going on, my dad has them for him to do! Saturday, Ryan and his Dad planted two huge trees in our new backyard. I seriously don't know how they did it. The root balls on the tree were seriously about 4 feet in diameter. They look awesome though. Next step for the backyard is the deck. It already has a smaller one, but we want to have a 2-level deck. Saturday night we had a big bbq at my parent's. Everyone was in town so that was a ton of fun. Then for Father's Day Ryan was lucky enough to get to help stain my parent's fence. How fun is that?! What a way to celebrate your first Father's Day!!

Love the Sweet Potatoes!

We have finally made it through the line of vegetables and fruits and it's official... they LOVE sweet potatoes and bananas!! They still despise the cereal, even when I spike it with Karo syrup!! If any of my mommy friends out there have any recommendations for the grody cereal, I would love to hear them!
The damageRandom pic of Hunter. This is how he goes to sleep these days. Pulls the blanket right over his face and he gone!

Our New House!

I have to apologize... as of right now I do not have any pictures of our new house so I'll do my best to describe it until I get some. The house is 5 years old but luckily the people who lived in it before were the most anal people I've met. The house is in very good shape with just the usual wear of a 5 year old house. We haven't moved in just yet because we're doing all we want done before we move in so we can just relax at that point.

Last weekend, Ryan and his Dad painted the entire inside (minus the bedrooms). The house was too white for our taste so the paint really made it feel warm. The kitchen has white cabinets and there are plantation shutters throughout the entire house (LOVE THEM!!!) so you can imagine how white it was. This weekend he is planning on painting the bedrooms and his office. As much as it kills me, Hunter and Reagan are going to have their own rooms. It's a 5-bedroom house so we can afford to do so. They are close to sleeping through the night but when one wakes up, so does the other. Hunter tends to want to carry on a conversation with himself somewhere around 2 am many mornings. Keeping them separate will allow them to sleep better... so I'm hoping.

Next week we are having the hardwood floors refinished and then we should be good to go. Except for the fact that Ryan is going to be gone until around the 2nd of July so I'm not too sure when we will officially move in. I am very excited to do so though!!

I'll keep you posted and hopefully will get some pictures on here soon!!
