Wheel Watchers

My friend Susan is going to love this one! She is a true Wheel of Fortune addict so she would be very proud to know that Hunter and Reagan seem to be addicts as well. Seriously, since they were about two months old they have loved it when Wheel comes on. They have dinner, take their bath, get their jammies on, and then watch the Wheel! I'm sure it's all the nice, bright lights and crazy sounds. They are really at their best for that half hour of the day!! Here's the proof:

(they're somewhere in the mix of ALL the toys:-)

Our Weekend

We had a nice, relaxing weekend. Well the babies and I did while Ryan and his dad were doing all the work:-)
Swingin' in the park Hunter - I'm thinkin' he REALLY likes this swinging thing!
Reagan - Oh how it KILLS her to crack a smile!
Lovin' the popsicles

The aftermath!!!

Voila!!!

It's done! Except for the wall pieces of course, but one of those is on order:-) Ryan got the chair rail up last weekend and he and his dad got the crown moulding up yesterday. Love it!

Don't worry... we didn't paint some random circle on the wall. It's from the camera:-)

Organizing... with a little help

Just a quick note. I decided to go through the twins' clothes today to put away the ones that no longer fit. I was on a roll when I turned around and noticed I had a little helper. Helping to pull the clothes right out onto the floor! Notice her accomplice! I can't tell you how much he loves his sissy. I swear he is just in awe of her. He's so happy he can crawl now because he pretty much follows her wherever she goes.

Later - Reagan trying to figure out how to get out of this place!

Lovin' the "Do"

Bathtime is getting more and more fun every evening. Well the bath part anyways. The lotion and dressing part afterwards isn't so fun anymore. The twins would much rather just stay in the bath all night. I made their "hair" very beautiful tonight. They would just look at each other and laugh like crazy. They couldn't figure out what the heck happened to each other's head!!

Mr. Handsome

Here he is!! Here's our big crawler man! So.. I know it may appear that he only has one hat, but you really don't understand how much I LOVE this hat!!! I think it clearly shows why:-)

Hunter's crawling!!!

Sorry I don't have any pictures just yet, but I wanted to let everyone know that Hunter is crawling now!! He actually started crawling last week and my life as I know it is officially over. I now have two crawlers and they are everywhere... separately!! Reagan has discovered the stairs and can now crawl all the way to the top (with me behind her of course!). I definitely have to be on my toes now!!

Day Two - Bring on the Stripes

We finished the second part of Hunter's nursery today. Ryan definitely had to help with this step. Why I chose stripes for my first official painting project is beyond me, but luckily I have Ryan to bail me out and make things look good!! Most of his room will be done tomorrow but we have to wait on a couple more things to totally complete it. I'm thinking next weeked it will be completely finished.

Finally... some Safari decor

So after talking to my friend Kirsten last week, I finally got on the ball and began decorating Hunter's room. I started with Hunter's because Reagan always seems to come first. You know the saying "the squeakiest wheel gets the grease"? Yup, that's Reagan, and Hunter always sits back and let's it all happen. He is so mellow it's amazing!! Anyways, so I was talking to Kirsten and she asked me if I had decorated their rooms yet. I told her no, and I could totally hear the disappointment in her voice. She had a good reason to be! It's fine time we decorate their nurseries... I mean they are almost 9 months old!!! So I took his blanket in to good 'ol reliable Lowes and had them match the brownish/tannish color. So that's what I started with. I have a plan but I'm not telling you yet. I have to make sure it turns out first:-) So here are the pictures of the first step. Two more days and we should be done. By the way, Ryan didn't help me at all!!! But... I did spill an entire gallon of paint all over the floor. Luckily I had a drop cloth down!! Not too bad for my first time! Okay, now I have to admit something. My mom did come over to do the edging:-) She could sense by my tone on the phone I was about ready for a breakdown!!

Just a little pat on the back..

So, normally I only put stuff on here about the kiddos or exciting things we do, but... I finally accomplished something today that really means alot to me. I seriously don't even know how many times I've joined Weight Watchers- 4 or 5 times - not sure. But...today I FINALLY made Lifetime Member!! I really never thought I could do it. I tend to be a bit of a lazy person when it comes to weight loss and exercising and all that oh-so-fun stuff. Reaching Lifetime means you have to hit your goal weight and keep it there or below for 6 weeks and I did it!!! WOOHOO!!!! Somehow I managed to (for the most part) stay on track and discover exercise. My new addiction is spinning even though halfway through each class I am cussing myself for going. When we reach the end of the hour and stretch, I realize again why I keep going:-)

On a much sadder note: we don't get to go to Breckenridge tomorrow, even though it was planned for about 2 months. Ryan has to fly to South Carolina for work instead. Better luck next time. C'est la vie!!

Baby's got a brand new hat

I just have to post these pics. There's nothing special about the day or anything, but there definitely IS something special about the little man in the hat (well, the big man in the hat too) :-)

Here's a pic of them in their new matching sunsuits headed for the pool
