School Pics

Goodbye Training Wheels!

On Mother's Day, both kids asked if Daddy would take their training wheels off so they could ride like "big kids". Thank goodness Ryan was in control of the teaching because I would have keeled over with all that running! Teaching one kid how to ride a bike is difficult but two at the same time looked a bit like a circus:-) I was very impressed with how fast they caught on! We now have two "big kid" bike riders:-)

It's already time for Hunter to get a bigger bike. He does pretty good riding with his knees almost in his face though!

Mother's Day

It's hard to believe that yesterday was my FIFTH Mother's Day. As all of you know, I tend to pout and whine about how quickly Hunter and Reagan are growing up. I really am not a fan of how fast time flies when we become parents.

What made this Mother's Day very special is that Hunter & Reagan both made me gifts at school and kept the secret and the gifts wrapped up until yesterday morning! I was impressed! They also made sure to wish me Happy Mother's Day at least once a day since Thursday. Man, nothing really does beat being a mommy:-)

Aren't these precious?

Mani & Pedi with Grammy

Jan took Reagan for her very first mani and pedi Saturday. Reagan was soooo excited while I tried not to have a total come-apart. My sister and my mom reassured me that it's perfectly fine for Grammy to take Reagan to get her nails done. One of my three biggest fears as a momma of a little girl is that I will have a little girl who just expects to have her nails done or hair done or expensive clothes bought for her and on and on and not be grateful for it. Sadly, I just see it way too often. But I am better now so Grandma and Grammy and Auntie Ronda, feel free to buy or take Reagan wherever you wish. Within reason of course;-) One thing I am very certain of is that I am always grateful for any bonding my kiddos get with their family.

Gardening with Boppy

The kids hung out with Grandma and Boppy yesterday. Luckily for Hunter, his Boppy is just as big of a busy body as he is and Hunter helped Boppy plant some tomato plants in the garden.

This is what happens when I let him dress himself. The attire will always include a swimsuit and a t-shirt that is just way too small. At least he has clothes on;-)

Easter 2012

All ready for dying eggs. Yes.. in Hunter's world, "all ready" means to at least have his underwear on.
Gotta add a little goofiness....
....from both kiddos!

Getting down to business!
Happy Easter!

Getting ready for the Easter Egg Hunt at my parent's house.
Oh Trevor... you little ham!

Fishing Trip

The weekend before Easter, Ryan took Hunter for his first official fishing trip up at Antero Lake (no clue where that is) with Brett (Ryan's dad). Hunter was up and ready at sun-up and they didn't come home until 10pm! Hunter had a blast! Evidently the wind was blowing like crazy; Hunter and Ryan had wind burned faces for 3 days. Ouch! The best part of the day? Hunter was fishing with seasoned (WELL seasoned) fly-fisherman and HE caught the biggest fish on his little Spiderman bait-fishin' pole! It really takes Ryan to tell the story but Hunter actually caught three huge trout on his little fishing pole:-) Ryan's scared to take Hunter fishing again because chances are that Hunter will think every fishing trip should include catching the biggest fish with Spidey:-)

NOT the fist he caught. Just a gross sucker fish:-)

Reelin' in his big catch!

Check it out!!!!
