Sooooo comfy....

It's almost bedtime and can you think of a more comfortable place to drink your nighttime milk while watching Jeopardy?

I think not!!

One early Christmas

Brett & Jan are going to be in Mississippi this year for Christmas so we celebrated Christmas with them yesterday. We opened gifts with them and then went to the Depot for dinner. We were supposed to go to Zoo Lights at the zoo but Reagan and I aren't feeling so great so we decided not to go.

I think the twins could get used to this present-opening stuff!

Reagan opening her Chloe doll from Grandpa & Grammy. She also got 3 extra outfits that go with the doll.

Here's Hunter's new workbench! You can build real projects! He seriously will not put the working drill down. Run down battery! Run down!!

This is how excited he was when he saw the picture on the box!

The boys putting the work bench together

The kids love the number and alphabet puzzles they were given. Reagan even knows some of the pieces. Thank you Sesame Street!

These pictures are from last weekend when we decorated the tree and the house. Yes, go figure... the kids have no clothes on:-) I promise Ryan and I don't run around in our underwear. I have no idea why they aren't fond of clothes.

I did my hair especially for this picture. You know.. how I always do my hair!

Look at that belly!

Another year, another screaming Santa pic...

We braved the insane crowd at Bass Pro Shop today because they truly have the coolest Santa setup and this is the picture we ended up with. Reagan talks about "Sanna Cause" all the time so I actually thought she may be into getting a picture taken with him. Umm.. yeah I was wrong. I'm not sure why Hunter was freaked out this year but they are both in the stage of doing and wanting exactly what the other does or wants. I'll just go with that:-) I think this picture needs to be sent into Ellen.

Not much of a change from last year.. except for Hunter.

2 Years Old on the Island of Sodor..

Oh.. how they wish! Wherever the Island of Sodor is...

We threw Hunter and Reagan their 2nd birthday party on Saturday. It was nice that their birthday didn't fall on black Friday this year. How depressing for your birthday to be called Black Friday anyways?? It really was alot of fun. Of course I stressed for two weeks beforehand but, it wouldn't be normal if I didn't do just that. It turned out just fine and I'm pretty sure everyone had a good time. The theme was "Thomas and Friends" because Reagan and Hunter are loco for Thomas. I dressed them as engineers which hopefully the pictures will show. I really think their favorite part of the party was the balloons. Meaning.. I really could have got away with a cheap and easy birthday had I just bought them some balloons to play with and didn't do anything else. The house was decorated ALL Thomas.. even ginormous Thomas and Percy balloons. Yeah, they probably think they have a pretty cool Mom. I mean, hello?? Giant Thomas and Percy?? Very cool...

A huge, huge thank you to Corrine for making the twins' birthday cakes. You will see JUST how awesome the cakes were. And.. I can honestly say that I have never tasted a cake so good in all my life. Also, thank you to all who attended: Mom, Dad, Brett, Jan, Ronda, Gary, Trevor, Tyler, Rob, Melissa, Cade, Jaime, Susan, Tanya, Gracie, Justin, Elena, Viviana, and Sabella. And thank you for all the sweet, thoughtful gifts. Rodney, Kirsten, Grayson, and Gavin.. thank you as well!! We wish you could have been here (still hoping for that Colorado relocation:-)

Ready for the gifts!
Trevor man with his juice. Love this little guy!!!
Make a wish!!
Ready for her party... 3 hours early. Yup.. like I said.. no nap.
Their new train table from Mommy and Daddy. No lie... this track lasted about 3 minutes. All of the tracks are now in the trundle drawer.
4 of the 8 kids at the twins table.
Hunter digging in to his Thomas goods. I have to say.. this gift was from us and was supposed to be a Christmas gift.. except that it would go off EVERY TIME we went into the basement so it made it's arrival early. It's motion activated and it was driving me crazy!!!
Justin and Elena: Our new backyard neighbors. Their daughter is Viviana and she is 2 1/2 and they just had a baby girl in October named Sabella.
Jaime and Susan: our next door neighbors. We are SO beating them in the Christmas light contest this year!!
Grandpa and Grammy gave the twins these awesome "retro" tricycles. Cade and Trevor need to get one so they can be their own "tricycle gang"!!!
Here are the cakes!!! Are they not the coolest cakes you've ever seen?!?! The twins got their very own train cake!!!
Tyler and Cade were VERY patiently waiting for the cake. Somehow... the oreo wheels kept spontaneously disappearing...
Mommy's message to my sweet 2 year olds
Here they are!!! Trevor, Reagan, Viviana, Tyler, Cade, Hunter, and Gracie. Sabella didn't want to be in the pic. Maybe only being 1 month old had something to do with it?

Thanksgiving at the Decker's

Thanksgiving was such a great time this year. Well, it is every year actually but, you know... This year we had Thanksgiving at Mom and Dad's (of course!) and Ronda and Gary's family was there along with Gary's brother Randy, his wife Marlo, and her kids Preston and Vivian. Rob, Melissa, and Cade joined us which made it even MORE fun! Dad smoked a turkey and Gary deep-fried a turkey. We also got a ham from the HoneyBaked store (Bless the Honeybaked store!!!) and had ALL the trimmings. Thanks to Rob and Melissa for the "to-die-for" gravy, stuffing, and cranberry chutney. I have to admit, I had to ask them what in the world chutney was. You all know just how classy a gal I am so I'm sure that doesn't surprise you much.

What I absolutely loved about our Thanksgiving is that it was so low-key and fun-filled. Who wants to waste time with fancy dinnerware when you can spend more time with family and friends because you can just throw the paper plates away?! HAHAHA!!! No, no.. it just happened to work out the best this time. I am all for the fancy shmancy stuff in certain occasions.. like when there's no more than 6 people at the dinner table. Any more than that equals too many freaking dishes to do if you ask me!!! After dinner we all attempted to watch a movie in Mom and Dad's theater. It lasted about 20 minutes but it still made for a great time!!! I absolutely love this time of year. No matter if it's fancy dishes or paper plates, this time of year means getting together with those most dearest to you. Of course, there are those that are far away that we miss so much. Maybe next year I'll throw a paper plate on the table for you guys and your family too (Kirsten and Susan :-). I sincerely hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!

After dinner... Reagan and Cade were POOPED!! Just to prove it.. Cade NEVER cuddles!! :-)

Two of my most favorite guys in the world. Only Hunter is missing.. Rob & Melissa. Why does Rob look so annoyed?? Reagan and "Auntie Ronna" (Ronda) Hunter. I think he's already wishing he had some chest hair. Yes.. he unzipped his zipper that low..
