This jumping is hard work!!

Thank goodness for the Rainforest Jumper! I can actually grab a few minutes to attempt to clean or do some laundry having this toy. Hunter is a jumpin' fool in his jumper but Reagan tends to just study the attached toys very intently. As you can see by the picture below, Hunter tends to wear himself out just a bit, although he's never quite been this worn out... In fact, my friend Susan has a picture of her little boy Landon in pretty much this exact position in his Rainforest Jumper:-)

This is one of the best "happy" pictures we have of Reagan so far. She gets happier and happier every day:-)

My First Mother's Day

I absolutely love Mother's Day. I really hadn't thought much about it but when the day got here, I couldn't believe how great I felt. That day has sure been a long time coming. I got to spend it (of course) with my sweet babies and Ryan. Ryan was supposed to be in Japan over Mother's Day but luckily his trip was postponed. I also got to spend it with most of my family as well: my sister Ronda, my brother-in-law Gary and their kids Tyler and Trevor; my brother Danny, sister-in-law Kristi and their kids Cody and Caitlyn; and Mom and Dad. We all had quite a full weekend. Friday we attended my niece Kourtni's graduation from CU Boulder. I have to admit that made feel a bit old.. Ryan, Danny, and Gary went to a poker party and get this... didn't make it home until 4 am! Ryan won so that was nice. Saturday night Ryan's dad and step mom joined us to help "inaugurate" Mom and Dad's new media room. We watched the race (NASCAR) and Hunter & Reagan have become quite the fans. They couldn't take their eyes off of the screen! We ate bunch of good food and drank plenty of beer and wine and had a great time! Sunday we all just enjoyed the awesome weather but tonight there is a Winter Storm warning. Last time I checked it was May 12th, but... whatever.. I still LOVE Colorado!!

No longer homeless?!?

So I don't have any pictures to post just yet. I'm very sorry about that. I have pictures, I just don't really have the time right now to put them on. I promise eventually I'll get to it. Hunter and Reagan are doing really well. They both have an icky cold right now so life hasn't been all that fun for them. I think Ryan and I got a total of about an hour of sleep last night because Reagan would not sleep. I guess she feels the need to let us know just how miserable she feels:-) Poor baby..

On another note, we FINALLY found a house! 4 contracts and a few more gray hairs later, we finally found the "one". It's amazing how the good Lord works for people. We made offers on 3 houses before this final one. We weren't completely in love with any of them-we just thought if we could get one dirt cheap we'd make it into something we love. Well, luckily for us we didn't accept any counter-offers on those homes. Like the manic, realtor.com searching girl that I am I found a new listing right here in this neighborhood (LOVE this neighborhood) on Tuesday morning. I went over and drove by and loved the house-from the outside anyways. So we called our realtor and we went to look at it that evening. We LOVED it! We made an offer that night and we close June 6th. I keep thinking how lucky those people are selling their house in 12 hours in this sad, sad market when it took about 100 years (or so it felt like) to sell ours in Texas!! I can't wait to get pics to post on here. It may be a month or so:-)

4 Month Checkup

Hunter and Reagan had their 4 month checkup yesterday. I couldn't wait to find out what my little oinker Hunter weighed. I knew he weighed alot but I sure wasn't expecting to find out he weighs 17.14 pounds!!! Holy Moly! He is now in the 90th percentile for weight and only the 50th percentile for height. He must have his momma's physique:-) Reagan weighs 12.9 pounds. She is in the 25th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height. I'm hoping she always keeps her figure!

We're officially Coloradans again!

It's been quite a month. April 3rd we celebrated Ryan's birthday AND closed on our house in Texas. Yes... it FINALLY sold!! We made sure to use the hottub every night we were there. I am going to miss that! We got to say goodbye to our friends and drink yummy margaritas. Alot of yummy margaritas! My mom and Ryan's dad came down to help us pack up and move back. I really don't think we could have done it without them. Especially with 2 babies. Hunter and Reagan did very well. I was shocked. Here are a few pictures of our little vaca to Texas.

Easter Bunny

Hunter and Reagan had their first visit with the Easter Bunny! Unfortunately they weren't all smiles but at least they weren't screaming like some of the other kids were! I'll have more Easter pictures after Sunday and I promise to post those pics once they're taken. If you think Hunter's a chunk.. wait until you see his cousin who's just 2 months older than him!!

3 Month Pictures.. Oh My!!!

Yesterday, Hunter & Reagan went for their 3 month pictures. What an experience! Hunter was totally diggin' it. I swear he mugged for the camera for 20 minutes straight. He was so good! As you can see, he still REALLY like to eat! Reagan on the other hand.. well.. she was Reagan! Reagan does what Reagan wants to do. Reagan smiles when Reagan feels like smiling (which seems to be most often on her changing table for some reason). We started off her pictures with her cute, little bonnet on but her head is so small it just kept falling down over her face which of course just made her mad. So after seriously 30 minutes of trying for good shots, this is what we finally settled for. I guess they're not too bad for 3-month-old twins. Maybe for their 6-month pictures we'll bring the photographer here.... to their changing table.
